There’s something about opening my little wellness cabinet at the end of a long day the calm, the warmth, the feeling that I’m taking care of myself from the inside out.
As a mom, student, working professional and a woman rebuilding her peace, these herbs have become a part of the lifestyle I’m creating for myself. They keep me grounded, balanced, and centered even when life gets loud.
Today, I wanted to give you a peek inside my wellness world and share the herbs I use the most and why they matter.
✨
Chamomile — My Nighttime Calm
Chamomile is the herb that tucks me in at night.
It softens my mind, relaxes my muscles, and gets my body ready for rest.
Benefits:
Helps with relaxation
Supports sleep
Eases stress and irritability
Soothes digestion
When I’m overwhelmed or emotionally drained, chamomile is usually the first thing I reach for.
✨
Lavender — Peace in a Cup
Lavender smells like softness, healing, and femininity.
It’s the herb I use when my mind is racing or when the day has drained me.
Benefits:
Reduces anxiety
Promotes deeper sleep
Calms the nervous system
Helps relieve headaches
A little goes a long way, it’s a powerhouse for peace.
✨
Echinacea — My Immune Support Bestie
As a nursing student and a mom, I can’t afford to get sick.
Echinacea helps support my immune system naturally, especially during stressful or busy weeks.
Benefits:
Strengthens immunity
Helps fight colds
Supports the body during stress
Reduces inflammation
I drink this especially during school seasons or whenever my body feels “off.”
✨
Lemongrass — The Energy Booster
Lemongrass brings a bright, clean flavor that wakes up my whole spirit.
It’s perfect for mornings or afternoons when I need a natural lift without caffeine.
Benefits:
Boosts energy
Helps digestion
Acts as a natural detox
Supports healthy skin
It’s refreshing, uplifting, and tastes like a reset.
✨
Peppermint — Focus & Fresh Start Energy
Peppermint is my go-to for studying.
When I need to lock in for A&P or TEAS prep, this herb helps bring clarity and focus.
Benefits:
Improves concentration
Helps with headaches
Supports digestion
Clears the sinuses
Peppermint + my skeleton study buddy = future nursing student mode.
✨
Rosemary — For Memory + Mental Clarity
Rosemary isn’t just a kitchen herb it’s a brain herb.
I keep it in my cabinet for days when I need a little mental sharpening.
Benefits:
Supports memory
Improves mental clarity
Boosts circulation
Reduces fatigue
Perfect for exam weeks or when my mind feels foggy.
🌸
How I Use These Herbs Together
Most nights, I mix chamomile + lavender + echinacea for a soothing nighttime blend.
Mornings or afternoons, I lean into peppermint + lemongrass for energy and focus.
And when my brain needs a reset, rosemary helps center me.
This is the beginning of what inspired LIM Tisana™️ a tea brand that’s all about loving yourself more, healing through simple rituals, and choosing wellness every day.
💛
It’s a Lifestyle
Herbal wellness isn’t perfection it’s intention.
It’s choosing the softer path.
It’s choosing yourself.
It’s making one small cup of tea that shifts your whole mood.
And that’s the lifestyle I’m living… one sip at a time.
Love,
Leah
