This week felt like one long reminder that life doesn’t slow down just because your plate is full. From the moment my alarm went off in the morning, my mind was already going through everything that needed to happen that day. Getting myself together, making sure my little one was up and ready for school, checking backpacks, figuring out breakfast, looking at the clock every few minutes, and trying to remember whatever it was I told myself the night before that I absolutely could not forget....

Midweek is here, and so far, this week has already given me a beautiful moment to reflect on. My little one started back at school after summer break, and like most moms, I was anxious to hear how his first day went. When I received his feedback, my heart felt so full. I learned that he has become a safe space for some of the students in his class. This week has been busy, a little hectic, but productive. I started back with my classes, my little one starts school tomorrow, and in between it all I’ve been getting the house together, organizing, preparing, and handling all those little things that somehow turn into a whole list.
